Goodbye's lead to Hello's =)

' Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion... love actually is all around.'

Love actually existss huh?? its crazy that we are all so consumed with our own lives we sometimes forget that love is all around us and if only we took the time to see this! and since 2011 is coming to an end I thought Id have somewhat of a meaninful blog-post!--  why hate?? its so much harder to hate/dislike a person anyways so just mend all those rough patches for the new year!-- it'll make you feel better and inner peace is very important!  All of you need to take the time out n call the people you love and care about this holiday season and maybe just say hi!-- you might brighten someones day up! I hope everyone of you had an amazingg 2011 and as this year is coming to an end we say hello to a new year, new trends, new friends, new resolutions and a new YOU! but don't ever forget your roots!!

Before I start the content of this blog I really wanted to thank all my readers and supporters for allowing meeh to do something I like to do!! So THANK YOU all so so so much! 


Anyways,  I love airports and they always remind meeh of the movie Love actually!  Ever wonder how many people meet their soul mates at the airport?? Its quite possible especially if you are flying solo! you never know who could be sitting next to you on that flight hehe. So of course while traveling you want to still look somewhat decent.  So since its that time of year where many of you may be traveling around the world to see friends and family, I thought this would be a good blog post! I know we all want to be comfy on our flights, but hey that doesn't mean you can't look cute! 

Whats an easy way to be comfy and cute on ur travels?! Well might be a little pricey but Victoria Secrets Pink collection is always an easy go to for comfy and cute clothes! They have cute colored sweats/ sweatshirts and so much more!

You can even just throw on some riding pants and a lose top and still look cute!

Travel with a cute bag please! The bags ur checking in dont really matter but the ones u ll have with u should def be Caaauuuuttee! hehe 

SMILE-- nothing is uglier than a frown! and your traveling, why would u not be smiling-- unless your leaving a loved one.  

Books?? Need books to read on the plane!? Maybe you can read Steve Jobs book, for all you girls out there you should DEF read Think like a man, Act like a Lady! 

Drugs?? LOL

for those of you taking a long flight just take some benadryl or something that will make u drowsy! its the best thing to do hahaha. I do it all the time =)

Its the holidays so lets not be mean to ppl! everyone is on the go around this time of year.  So be nyce to the people around you.  God knows who you will meet. 

So for all of you traveling, I wish you all safe travels! 

I will be traveling as well so this is probably my last blog post for the year!

What did 2011 see?!

So im sitting here 'studying' for finals and I totally just got over it n decided to blog! haha i wish I knew how to study?? I commend ppl who are able to study for hours and hours I just cannot do it! SO here I am blogging away! haha Whats new in the world of Fashion right now??  Well the Year is ending so we won't see much new stuff for now. Can't believe 2011 is ending! so whatd we see in 2011?? lets go over a few things just to reminisce a little =D


The world is def changing and men are becoming more feminine and women trying to be more like men?!! well I always say that guys are the worlds new girls guess its true in the fashion world too! hahaha


So we see girls wearing more rugged clothing-- the combat boots-- suits-

We saw all the colors! the colored jeans, colored blazers

Texture overload-- there were so many different patterns and textures seen this year!

Chunky knits, which we see right now.

Flares came back in.

TIME TELLS ALL...

Pretty much it goes like this, a missing watch on a mans wrist is like not wearing underwear! Thats just simply gah-ross! A nice watch is definily a neccessity in every mans life. Im not saying this so you always have the time on your wrist-thats what cell phones are for, DUH! Im saying this because watch is a very important accessory!  One of the first few things I notice on a man is hands down his watch.  You can wear your watch everywhere and anywhere.  Dress it up or dress it down! There are SO many different kinds of watches out there.  Find something that fits your personal style so when you wear it, you feel comfortable as it sits on your wrist.  I personally think that you should have a couple of watches to choose from to match your outfits.  Here are a few watches that I’m totally into lately! 

Casual shmasual- A brown leather band gives out an edgy yet casual vibe. If your looking for something casual, look out for a dark brown leather band watch. This is a good watch to wear during the day while running errands, lunch date, etc.

The fun one- Colorful, sporty, rectangular shaped; this watch should be the eye catcher.  This fun piece would be perfect for a night out, date nights, etc.

Fancy wancy-  A classy timeless piece that screams elegance. A pricey piece I might add. This is the watch that might be your prized possession. Something you wear to formal events, business parties, weddings, etc.

Combat Boots!

Hi hi hi! So for someone who loves shoes, I have just realized I do not write about shoes at all! how sad! So todays topic is all about Combat boots-- for guys and girls!  So these boots are a little edgy and from talking to my friends and what not-- not everyone feels comfy wearing them.  I guess it really depends on your personality and your own style, everyone has their own style and some things are just not meant for everyone!

I personally do like them, but I guess you can say i am a bit 'edgy' and 'funky' when it comes to the way I dress, so i wear them, but let meeh tell you it took meeh some time to really get use to them! And as for the guys-- Not many guys can wear them.. when I showed em to my own brother he laughed at meeh and said he'd never wear them! sooo they can really go both ways-- but if your looking to change your style or just try something different-- Combat boots are def something different! Try em out :)

Nails nails nails!--So within the last year nail polish and nail colors has become a statement-making finish to one's ensemble! It is almost as important as one's shoes! I loveeee nail polish and if any of you know meeh on a personal level, you know I ALWAYS have nail polish on unless something is wrong with meeh lol. soo for the Fall/ Winter season we see darker and duskier colors-- so put away those bright summer colors and take out the deep, rich colors! Here are a few suggestions:


Greens! Darker, duskier greens are very in!

Blues!-- You cannot go wrong with the bold blues this season!
